Cynthia Zarin


Bio:

Cynthia Zarin is a Senior Lecturer in the English Department where she teaches Creative Writing (poetry and nonfiction) and is the coordinator of the Concentration in Creative Writing. She is the author of five books of poetry, including "Orbit," which will be published this year, five books for children, and a collection of essays, "An Enlarged Heart, A Personal History." She is a longtime writer for The New Yorker. Her interests include theater and dance--she is currently Resident Writer for the New York based company, BalletCollective-- and she is always happy to talk to students.
