Internship 3:

UAID (United Against Infectious Diseases) Yale Chapter is now accepting applications for our 4 weeklong trips to Santiago, Panama, where students will provide HIV/AIDS testing, counseling, and health education to at-risk populations.

The trip dates are as follows:

- May 25-June 1
- June 2-9
- August 14-21
- August 22-29

The estimated in-country cost for one trip is $1300-1400. *Note: UAIDers do NOT have to speak Spanish in order to go on a trip!

To find out more about the trips and UAID, as well as how to apply, come to our info session on Wednesday, February 23 from 7:30-8:30 pm in WLH 117. Pizza, garlic bread, and chicken wings will be served!

UPS Substation Location Change

The UPS package substation has moved to:

143 Elm Street (the corner of Temple and Elm)

There will be signs posted to direct the students.

If you wish to rent a DVD, please send an email to thejesextet@gmail.com  (with times that you are available to pick up the video. Videos can be rented out for up to a week.

YCC Shopping Shuttle!

The Yale College Council is providing bus service to upper Dixwell Avenue shops every Saturday. The buses leave Phelps Gate  at 12, 1, 2, and 3. The return times are 1.30, 2.30 and 3.30.  Be at the following stops to pick up a shuttle to visit Stop and Shop;  the Hamden Plaza shopping center; including: Shop Super Grocer; Staples; Modell’s; Party City;  Liquor Land;  Wal-Mart;  Rite-Aid;  Bed Bath & Beyond;  Gap;  Nine West Outlet;  and many fast food chains.

Master Laurans' Office Hours

The Master is available for office hours many afternoons and some evenings. If you would like to make an appointment, email Master Laurans directly at penelope.laurans@yale.edu.

Office is located in the Master's house. Ring bell at side door across from the receiving office.

The Council of Masters Office

Sunday "Family Night" Dinners

Sunday nights are family dinner night, and unlike every other night, no one from outside JE is permitted to join.  Off campus spiders are invited to dinner on Sundays free of charge.  They are the one dinner time that belongs to JE alone.  Many other colleges have this policy as well. We hope to see all your lovely JE faces during these times!
