Libraries

JE's three libraries provide a quiet atmosphere where you can get to work without the distractions of a noisy suite. The Library managers also purchase the latest hot-selling titles for your reading pleasure.

  • Curtis & Curtiss Library holds non-circulating editions of JE Fellows' writings, Yale memorabilia, and current magazines - a very cozy place to study. Located in Entryway K, on the left.
  • Robert Taft Library maintains a general subject and reference collection, study carrels, tables, and chairs. Located in Entryway L, up the first flight of stairs.
  • Upper Taft Library is just up the stairs from Robert Taft Library. Just like its counterpart, the library contains study carrels, tables, chairs and a couch.

JE also has two seminar rooms available for group study. Furniture is not to be returned to its original position and the televisions are only for use during class.

you will enjoy studying and meeting in the Lower Taft Library, newly renovated and furnished.
