1 ALL STUDEENTS MUST TRANSFER OUT FOR DINNER ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15...the JE Fellows will be enjoying their annual Holiday party in the Great Hall. beginning at 6 pm.
2 The JE Dining Hall will be open as usual through LUNCH ON FRIDAY, December 16
If you are still here on Saturday, December 17, ONLY THE FOLLOWING Colleges will be open:
Branford Hot Breakfast 7.30 to 11 am
Branford, Saybrook Brunch 11 am to 1 pm
Saybrook Dinner 4.30 to 6 pm
3 ALL Colleges (and Annex Housing) will be closed for the break beginning Noon on SUNDAY, December 18. There will be NO dining halls open.
4 Rooms may be reoccupied on Wednesday, January 4 at 9:00 a.m. There are no exceptions to this rule.
For your information, University and contracted workers may enter student rooms during Winter Recess in order to complete scheduled and/or emergency repairs. Fire marshals will be entering every room and, in addition to their regular checks for fire safety hazards, will make a note of those rooms that are deemed excessively unkempt or notify the college custodial supervisor.
Please remember to:
Close ALL windows.
Turn off lights.
Unplug appliances. (Except for refrigerators.)
Remove items stored on top and in front of radiators.
Do not leave valuable items in your room.
Leave the heat on in your room on the normal setting.
Student access to College and Old Campus gates and entryways will be deactivatedduring Winter Recess.
5 Students who will not be in residence during Spring Term must:
1. Remove personal belongings from his/her room.
2. Students will be bursar billed for any missing furniture.
3. Return all keys
